Saturday, June 9th, 1984: Indians Norris Silences Seattle
Mike Norris of the Cleveland Indians gave the Mariners a steady diet of fine pitches and he walked off the mound with a complete game shutout. He blanked them 4-0 on 5 hits with a total of 6 strikeouts and no walks.

The Cleveland manager said, "Norris was on quite a roll. He gets great late movement and he doesn't give in to the hitters."

This season Norris has compiled a 6-4 mark with a 2.92 ERA in 11 starts.
