Wednesday, July 1st, 1981: Robinson 5-6 Against BlueClaws
"It was almost like batting practice. I saw the ball very well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted." That's what Charleston catcher Bruce Robinson said to SION reporters after his fantastic 5-6 day against the Lakewood BlueClaws at Ballpark of Meadowlakes. "I got some good counts and used the whole field."

The RiverDogs had a good day, too, and won the ballgame 6-5.

B. Robinson singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, flied out in the 8th, walked in the 10th and singled in the 12th.

Thus far in 1981 Robinson is batting .327 with 7 home runs, 34 RBIs and 33 runs scored.
